I first came to Santa Fe in 1968, and have been a resident since 1971. I built adobe homes while living on and running a small family sustainable farm in La Cienega. I fell in love with the mix of Native American, Hispanic, Western and art/intellectual cultures in Santa Fe. It is truly one of the most unique places on the globe, which attracts interesting and creative people from all walks of life. 

In 1978 I started a ceramic art tile business, selling to seven consignment stores in Albuquerque, Taos and Santa Fe. Over the next 22 years I developed representation in all 50 states and had sales to over 4,000 accounts, including corporate clients such as Ace Hardware, JC Penny and Wild Birds Unlimited.

My real estate career began in 2000 working extensively in residential resale, land, land development and new construction. Relying on my previous construction experience, I began focusing on representing builders and have since developed a strong relationship with seven major builders in Santa Fe. I was involved in selling the first Energy Star homes in Santa Fe and have stayed at the forefront of the green movement, representing green builders as well as builders for LEED designations. As a result I have developed an intimate knowledge of green and quality construction.

Over the last five years my focus has been on the residential resale market. There are opportunities in the Santa Fe Real Estate market that haven’t been available in a long time. We have an active market with stable prices,  I task myself with finding the best deals available for my clients along with negotiating the best price possible. My goal is always to educate my clients to the point where they are comfortable in knowing they are making the best and most educated decision possible.

Forty years of business experience and hundreds of Real Estate have taught me that every sale and transaction is unique. Identifying those unique differences and adjusting presentation accordingly is key to a successful sale. My work ethic is built on the commitment to never give up and keep exploring solutions. This has resulted in my being a top producer receiving Prudential’s President’s Circle Award nationwide.
